The Golden Lotus_ Ode to Swarnakamalam

A Gem of Award winning Indian movie 'Swarna Kamalam' with the theme Indian of classical dance. Chandra holds the feet of dancing Meenakshi and places it on his thigh. his dream csme true... why??? Who is meenakshi...A happy go lucky girl, and daughter of reputed dance guru Sharma, of kuchipudi lineage who trained her daughter to be a meticulous dancer. But She has no interest on the dance and wanted to move forward with life by doing a job. Chandrashekar, a guy next door, who loves her gracefully dance but with out heart. He tries to fulfil her father's wish organising a dance recital by showing her through his art. but she reluctantly walks down the stage humiliating Chandra. Her humiliation is compensated by her father dancing on the stage in fury and loses his life by heart stroke. Meenakshi moves forward as a lobby manager, for a restaurant where Chandra comes for a project and shows her image to the Hotel chairman to paint for their advertisement, chairman chages her job from lobby house keeping girl to a dancer in their cultural affairs desk. She dances again but her eyes are on camera and photographers. Her heartless dance disappoints a famous odissi Dancer Sharon loven, who explains her later to show the real soul of Meenakshi dancing and offers a cultural tour to America. infact its one of Meenakshi's dream to visit foriegn country. Chandra motivates her and few of her close people , she keeps practicing slowly realising the worth. but someday she visits his father students institute performing ritual, she looks at the photo of her late father being reverred, she repents, she lets her emotions flow from where she awakens and dances like never before as though the Goddess Parvati dancing on Himalayas. Chandra's dream of watching her dancing with reverence. Sharon feels her dance as bliss. in all amidst chandu bends and holds her feet with boundless love and places it on her thigh... She then expresses she lost herself in her dance that was very first time to her. Then what happened.... Sharon was all set to take her America, Meenakshi's heart was in Chandra's search. She gets a farewell letter from him that mskes her so emotional and realise she loves him so much. She goes back to meet him and finds him painting her portrait on the sea shore. She stands infront of him showing all signs of love and surrendering to that man who loved her more than anything else. Chandrashekhar welcomes her to his life opening his hsnds wide. she embraces him and they both lived happily ever after.(concludes) Doing what??? I assume She becomes world famous dancer and continues her fathers lineage alongside hus and Chandrashekar, a wellknown artist.
